The few years, Japanese whiskey has been popular all over the world, and even in New York, Japanese whiskey will be sold out soon after it arrives. The project is to design a glass for a whiskey bars in Tribeca, New York, which their main sales is Japanese whiskeys.
Since there are metal processing companies among those involved, I started thinking about vessels using metal shaving.
A hollow-structured vessel made of two different shaped skins, the inner skin shapes to support ice beautifully and the outer skin shapes to make holding easier, we considered integrating the optimized two shapes for inside and outside.
The hollow structure prevents surface condensation and the cloisonne pattern on the surface expresses Japanese tradition.
