Design proposal for a competition of Art-lab Hashimoto.

The interior design proposal was made under the special conditions of an interior design of a building to be developed by a private company, which was selected through an open call for proposals for the development of a complex facility including Art-Lab Hashimoto and other commercial facility.

We proposed a deep eaves space on the south side of the building facing the park with large openings to integrate it with the park in front of the building.
Considering that the 5.7m ceiling height requirement would divide the activities on each floor, we proposed a large mezzanine space between the first and second floors, creating a large staircase-like space to connect the activities drawn from the park to the upper floors.
The space with 'communicative steps' create a series of activity spaces with different ceiling heights, giving users room to think about how to use the space and creating possibilities for the development of activities.
